Ribbeck Engineering, Inc. Welcomes Cities of the Future! Johanna Ribbeck, from Ribbeck Engineering, Inc. had the opportunity to be a part of this year’s National Engineers Week: Future City 2020 Competition. Each year, bright students from local middle schools around Miami gather to imagine, design, build and showcase cities of the future. The theme for the 2020 Future City Competition was Clean Water. Students were asked to determine any present/ forthcoming threats to their city’s water supply and tackle the identified problems head-on, ensuring ample amounts of clean drinking water would be available. The fun took place on January 18th, 2020 at FIU's College of Engineering Campus. Johanna spent the day meeting all the contestants and learning about the incredible cities they created. This event got us pumped for the future of engineering, we can’t wait to see the amazing things these students accomplish. Ribbeck Engineering, Inc. looks forward to being a part of this remarkable event next year!
